The Sivananda Dhanwantari Ashram in southern India welcomes thousands of people, young and old from all over the globe. What is it that makes students, business people, teachers, engineers, nurses and others leave behind their everyday lives to spend time in this remote, enclosed, spiritual environment? ‘Ashram’ seeks to answer this question by following the experiences of some of those who have made the journey, the reasons they came, and what they took with them when they left.
